Diary of a Russian-American

May 2020 to May 2023

I am the sole creator of this sequential art series. It is an autobiographical strip comic series with fantastical and abstract concepts. It showcases my personal stories, funny moments, invasive thoughts, and complex feelings. The purpose of the comic series was to publish regular and frequent examples of my work while I was working on major projects, freelance contracts, and/or a regular job. Webtoons seemed like the ideal platform to publish this series because, at the time of the pandemic, webcomics and Webtoons were the most popular platforms to read comics. Samples of pages from episodes are on the left.

The comic updates bi-weekly unless, if otherwise stated such as a hiatus. You can access the comic by clicking the link here on Webtoons.

Murder at Mercy Manor

Full explanation and link to the project is here.

Dental Disaster

Jan. 2021

I am the sole creator of this mini comic. It is a fantasy story about the Tooth Fairy attempting to pick up a tooth during one of her rounds. I wrote and illustrated this story for an anthology that unfortunately fell through. The color choice of purple and yellow was intentional, since the comic anthology challenged me and other artists to use monochrome or contrasting color palettes.

Though the comic was intended for print publication, the comic was reformatted and published on Webtoons several months later. You can read the comic online on this link here on Webtoons.
